This was our first time at Mcg...

This was our first time at Mcglynns in Dover. We went to dinner on Valentine's Day around 8:00pm, the restaurant was not very busy...it took the waitress 20 minutes to come to our table and take our drinks and she only made her way over to us because my fiance spoke to the hostess about the wait. The food is good but it came out cold. Very disappointed after always having great service and good food at the Mcglynns in People's Plaza, Newark.

I've eaten at McGlynns Pub three times in two weeks on a trip I made to Dover, DE, in Nov 09. I had the most awesome Kobe Burger I have ever had in my life. It had the most wonderfully flavored sauce on the burger that was to die for. It was served with a Caesar salad with a terrific dressing, and asparagus spears. I thought I had died and gone to Heaven. I had to go back two more times on my trip to get the Kobe Burger again...and again. The great thing about this place is that on one day of the week, their burgers are half price (don't remember which day now), which made this an even more awesome experience.
