Highlanders Tavern and Grill is a great change of pace compared to the current bars in Douglasville. It is really nice on the inside and pleasant enough to bring the family during the day but hip enough to draw a fun crowd at night. The food is of top quality, all hormone free, premium beef, free range chicken, etc but not expensive like other places. Unique items like Guiness battered black and tan onion rings with the cheapest beer in town will keep me coming back time and time again. Further more it is nice to come home from a bar and not smell like an ash tray. Smoking is not allowed inside but they are still accommodated outside with standing ashtrays and places to sit and mingle before coming back inside to join the party.
