We sent them pictures of our neighbors fence and asked if they could match that & they said they thought they could so the salesman came out took measurements looked at the fence we wanted to match and presented us with an estimate for $4,200 installed. They sent over the invoice and asked that we sign it. The invoice just said 5' ornamental alum. so I wrote on it that the salesman said it would match the neighbors fence and signed it because that description really didnt tell me much. The company then picked up my deposit check. They later sent me a second document to sign and I said I wanted it to say that it will match my neighbors fence because I have not been schooled in fence termenology and had no idea of what the name of that style fence was. Then next thing you know somebody else shows up at my house to look at the same fence that they already looked at and sends me an email telling me they made a mistake, and that the materials was going to cost them $4,440, but because of the confusion they would discount it and give me a fence that was about a 95% match to my neighbors for a discounted price of $7,126! Even after I told them the competitior bid was $6,200 and what he was really offering was to overcharge me. I agreed to a $1,300 price increase but they shot me down. The salesman called and apologized for his error. Forrest then had the nerve to say we didnt have a signed contract (despite them having me sign invoice and them cashing my deposit check). So what that tells me is had I not asked them to print on there that this fence would match they would have installed something totally different and then stuck me with it saying that is what I signed off on. So if you even consider using this company make them provide pictures with their quotes and proceed with extreme caution. In my business if I make a mistake like this I fix it at my expense because I value the reputation that we have built for ourselves. That did not seem to matter to them
