DeLand Animal Hospital has developed a team of experienced veterinarians and support staff. Our focus is to provide our clients and patients with friendly, compassionate and quality veterinary medicine. Our veterinarians are ready to handle all routine treatments and surgeries as well as advanced procedures/ surgeries and emergencies. Case rounds are conducted every morning and evening allowing each patient to benefit from the wide range of experience of all our doctors. Our highly trained support staff includes a hospital director, marketing director, licensed veterinary technicians, receptionists, and kennel assistants to maintain efficient quality patient/client care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our staff has many years of experience in the veterinary field and their dedication to the profession is reflected in the compassionate care they give to each and every patient and pet owner. We continually find ways to keep current in the veterinary field. Therefore, continuing education is importance to us. Our veterinarians and staff regularly attend conferences in order to continue the education process.

We provide all the necessities and comforts of home for your pet, such as bowls, food, bedding, and cookies. You are more than welcome to bring your pet’s own food, blankets and toys. Dogs and puppies are boarded in our deluxe runs and walked several times daily in an enclosed, grassy play area. Cats board in their kennels in a separate room to reduce noise / stress. Our exotics/birds are placed in a small quiet room with a large window. We have year round central air conditioning and heating using a climate controlled system to keep our pets comfortable. > DROP OFF Busy Schedule? We allow clients to drop their pet off in the morning for an exam and pick up their pet later in the day. While your pet is here, our veterinarians will examine him or her and contact you by phone to discuss the exam and treatment plans. There is no additional charge for this convenient service. Upon arrival, we will ask you to fill out a “drop off” form. Please provide any medical history and medication information that may be pertinent to your pet’s case (this form is also available on this web site under the Customer Care – Online Forms).
