I teach Taekwondo at a local university but wanted a place to train with my kids, build my TKD skill and learn Hapkido. Decatur Martial Arts Academy was a great find. Master Sullivan runs a quality school and stays active at the local, national and international levels. Classes are open to all ages. Parents you can drop off your kids or, better yet, join in. We've several families that work out together.

My child was being bullied at his school, and a friend recommended trying martial arts training, so I brought my 9 year old in. From the start the change in my child's attitude was amazing. He began to have more self-confidence, as well as developing self-discipline, coordination, endurance and self-control. The best part is that after 6 months, the bullying stopped, not because my son stood up for himself but because the bully moved on- bullies do not like to pick on kids who have self-confidence. I recommend this school for any child who is interested in learning a martial art, they have both taekwondo and hapkido classes, and an excellent and varied instructor staff. Unlimited classes makes it easy to fit into any schedule. We love T.S. Lee Taekwondo.

This school is the best martial arts school in the Decatur area by far! Students from 4 to 60 have a great time while working hard towards achieving their goal of black belt. It is also the only school in the area that teaches Hapkido Sun Moo Kwan, the ultimate self defense art. All of the black belts and instructors are certified by Kukkiwon and The World Kido Federation.
