EMQ FamiliesFirst is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to bettering the lives of children and families through a variety of programs tailored to each individual. The organization focuses on four major program areas, each uniquely designed to meet the specific needs of its diverse clientele. These areas include community-based services, foster care, residential treatment and day treatment. Its Rose Manning Youth Shelter provides short-term assessment and crisis stabilization services for children in transition or crisis. Additionally, its Yolo Crisis Nursery provides a safe haven to protect the youngest, most vulnerable children from abuse or neglect, and provides support services to their parents during stressful times.
