Founded in 1974, Energy Services Inc. (ESI) is a manufacturer and a wholesaler of power plant equipments. Based in Farmington, Conn., the firm specializes in gas turbine engines and marine systems. In July 2001, Energy Services Inc. (ESI) was acquired as a subsidiary to United Technologies Corporation. Energy Services Inc. (ESI) is also a designer and provider of the complete generating plant. The firm is a remanufacturer, modifiers and maintainers of its equipment. Its customers list include Atlantic Electric Company, Commonwealth Edison Company, Delta Power Company, Becon Construction Company and Bankers Trust Company, to name a few.
