It has production in 16 states with a large concentration of production in Texas. Like its famous name, Spindletop Oil & Gas has a long and rich history. It was originally founded more than thirty years ago by Paul E. Cash and others as a north Texas exploration and production company. Spindletop has undergone numerous changes through the years, starting as a partnership, then changing to a corporation, then merging with various entities and later becoming a publicly traded company. The company has expanded its operations throughout the state of Texas and four other states. In addition, the company owns interests in oil and gas properties in 16 states.
