Outstanding groomer!! I have a West Highland White terrier (Mylo) and he has been going to this groomer for sometime. They are friendly, priced right and do a great job on my dogs hair cuts. I will never go back to Petsmart. Try them and you will be happy. Family run business with great customer service.
They are always so friendly and professional. My 2 golden retrievers look fabulous after spending time at Ak-Sar-Ben. I have recommended them to friends and they have always been pleased with the results, too!

Provided by YP.comI recall the incident being discussed in the previous review posted on 8/6/2010. I remember you bringing the puppy back and we explained to you that the privates were not touched and what the bleeding could have been caused by. At my shop we work very hard at what we do and do our best to keep our customers satisfied. We take responsibility for any mishap or issue that may occur. If you feel like we did not do our best and your pet was harmed please send me the bill so I can make things right.

Provided by YP.comOn Thursday, August 5, 2010, my Maltese was groomed at this shop. I dropped him off a little after noon and upon picking him up at 3:30p.m. and driving him home, he was bleeding from his private area I returned to theshop and he was inspected by one of the groomers. She advised me that he was not groomed around the private area because he was erect the entire time he was at your shop and that the person grooming him was afraid of injuring him. She also mentioned that the bleeding could have come from him being erect and then becoming prone and that the dryness could have caused the bleeding.
I proceeded to AAA Animal Hospital in Huntington Beach where I live where they concluded that my Maltese had 3 abrasions resembling damage from clipper blades.
Although I am very upset that he had to endure such injuries, I am more upset the person at the shop tried to deny it was done at the shop and proceeded to give an explanation that was totally fabricated.
After all was said and done, I was $120 out of pocket and an injured puppy!
