We have been to Halcyon Days Restaurant several times for dinner including Valentine's Day and our 40th Anniversary. We have always had a wonderful meal, attentive service and a relaxed evening. Everything we have tried has been done perfectly! They make a wonderful table side presentation of their Caesar salad. For the Crossville area this is a bit more upscale in price, but still very reasonable for what you receive. Gentle music in the background, subdued decor, a candle & fresh flowers on each table. Well-paced leasurely courses, so you never feel rushed. Bountiful servings, but do save room for dessert! They roll out a cart with lucious choices. We usually share a dessert. Halcyon Days Restaurant is located north on Genesis Rd off Route 40 next to the Stonehaus Winery. Do allot some time to do the wine tasting at Stonehaus, as Halcyon Days serves their wine. There is also an antique store of the same parking lot. We will hae to go there soon for lunch, as we haven't done that yet.
