We live about an hour from the Beef House. Still when we want to treat ourselves, it is one of the two places we go. As a beef specialty restaurant they have many outstanding beef entrees. The ribeye is my favorite. They serve delicious fresh, hot rolls with the smoothest strawberry jam. The salad bar offers great selection and each item is fresh and tasty. Finally, the wait staff are all first class. Special event? Treat the one you adore to a great night out at the Beef House.

Dined at The Beef House this week. Still one of the best in the Midwest. Great variety, always fresh, friendly and attentive staff. Wish I lived closer.

- The Beef House, founded in 1964, offers a variety of appetizers, salad, sandwiches, entrees and soups. It serves chicken tenders, french-fried zucchinis, pasta, applesauce, grilled portabella mushrooms and Caesar salad. The restaurant s seafood menu includes filet of Alaskan cod, grilled halibut, gulf shrimp, sea scallops, tilapias, Atlantic salmon and crab legs. It offers a special menu for children that include hamburgers, chopped sirloin, chicken legs, Alaska cod filet, rib eye steak and french-fried shrimp. Additionally, the restaurant serves a variety of wines and other beverages, including champagne, sparkling wines, martini, chardonnay, lager and Tia Maria.
