Wonderful Service & People. They just don't get any better than these people. They truly care about your pet, no matter what time of day (or night). Our 5 yr. old Boston Terrier had a reaction to a vaccine. He was very sick & in a lot of pain. We were very worried. As luck would have it, it was a Friday night, but I called them. They were super helpful and very easy to talk to. I ended up having to call twice Friday night & once Saturday morning, and they were great getting Chase through this. I wouldn't take him anywhere else, they have earned our respect. It's hard to find a good vet these days that truly cares about your pet when it really counts (after hours, when you really need help), but Copeland Veterinary Hospital has proven that they do.

We had to take our little Shih tzu to the vet Sunday - emergency visit. She's been having ongoing skin issues for a year and a half - but she woke Sunday with shortness of breath. The vet that was on call even though not her regular vet was familiar with her took an xray and said she has congestive heart failure and with the ongoing skin issue we should put her down - we declined and went to her Nashville visit today with a group we already had Scheduled regarding the skin issue but because of the Sunday diagnosis requested she see an internal medicine vet as well. Well she does NOT have congestive heart failure! !! And a skin scrape analysis resulted in 1 pill that they said will have her skin back to normal in about a month. A far cry from the SOB that was pushing to put her down Sunday!

Don't go there with animals other than average household pets, such as dogs and cats, improper dosage to my guinea pig and did not check if it would take and long story short my guinea pig died the day of, of a heart attack. As they told me it was also their first guinea pig they have worked on since they have only done rats and mice. Never going there again for any of my pets.

Dr. Baker is a very knowledgeable veterinarian with dogs and cats. He carefully examines the animal before making a diagnosis. He offers advice on minimal care options as well as full coverage with an approx. estimate to help the owner decide on which option to use. I took my cat there and the antibiotic shot which I chose to have administered gave immediate and long lasting results as opposed to my cats previous option of only homecare with cleansing and bacitracin ointment applied to an ear abscess. All the staff was courteous, as usual. I have had several dogs as well as my cat treated at Copeland's. I was very impressed with the new doctor, Dr. Baker. Thank you to all!
