Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services, located in Columbus, Ohio, is a nonprofit provider of continuing care retirement communities. It serves more than 3,000 residents and over 40,000 patients in various locations across the state. Founded in 1922, it offers independent and assisted living options, care services for individuals suffering from Alzheimer s disease and dementia and nursing services. It provides assisted living private rooms and suites for residents who enjoy the independence and social programs of retirement living, and are offered the assistance of a nursing staff 24-hours a day. Support services include assistance with dispensing medications, dressing, bathing and showering. It provides Medicare rehabilitation and has modern equipment and dedicated on-site rehabilitation services provided by its therapy group, including physical, occupational and speech therapies. Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services is governed by a board of directors that includes representatives from the retirement communities, the church and the community.
