Dr Metry and all of the vets at this hospital are the best - they are professional and caring. They work with you and do their best to help your companion animals. Best vet in the area

This veterinarian is horrible, completely incompetent! You get what you pay for. She doesn't know the difference between a hair ball and fat. She will string you along with uneducated guesses and stick every dog, cat, and any other animal with the same needle. When you think of poor quality service, it doesn't get any worse than this veterinarian. Don't bring your loving pets anywhere near this woman, all you'll end up with besides a large bill, is a dead dog or cat that you'll never get back, and be wishing you had seeked a second opinion. she will misdiagnose your pet a multitude of times. She will misdiagnose your pet a multitude of times as she did mine. When you choose a veterinarian take a good look at the " doctor " if she is sloppy and messy and doesn't take care of herself, imagine how she will treat your family member. I have been to several vets in last 40 years. All in the Tri-cities area. Always for my dogs. Margaret Metry is the BEST.

I love these vets & staff. They have treated 4 of my dogs, 2 of my daughters dogs & 2 of my cats. Dr Metry, Dr Green & Dr Riddle are the most compassionate vets I know. I am so thankful for this wonderful group! I would recommend them highly!

I wasn't going to write s review until I went to a different neighboring vet. Seeing the difference made me want to make sure everyone knew of my experiences. We have 5 animals that have all been seen by these dr's. I fully believe that they are only out for money and more money. They do needless test, and have very little compassion. With my children sitting in the room with me, they would give horrible hopeless news. That happened a few times. Now that I have seen how my animals can be treated, the way I treat them myself, I now know I will never set foot in this place again. I am seeing a vet who cares about my animals not his wallet. I challenge you to see the other side, I promise there is a huge difference!

When new to the area, my elder diabetic cat took a turn for the worse. The staff at Colonial Heights Vet Hospital were very dedicated and worked well with with my cat and also with her worried owner. When she died, they were wonderful to me. I received a card from them and a notice from the ASPCA that a donation had been made in her name. Caring and thourough.

We have taken several pets to Colonial Heights Veterinary Hospital for routine visits and have always received excellent, compassionate care from every doc we have seen. Recently I took my very sick cat in and Dr. Cline tentatively diagnosed her, stabilized her, and made an appointment for her to receive more intensive care at VRCC. She was very frank with us about our kitty's illness and yet was able to give us some hope, and was supportive of the decisions we made. The referral to VRCC was literally a lifesaver but it was Dr. Cline who got the ball rolling and we are very grateful and will continue to take our pets to CHVH.

They are conveniently located. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable. No long waiting times in the waiting rooms. You leave very satisfied that the doctors have thoroughly examined your pet, and your pet is in the best of hands.
