This roadside diner was a most pleasant surprise. It is only open from early morning to 2 p.m. Breakfast is served all day but you might want to consider a wonderful array of lunches. Somehow the coffee was not up to snuff today but we have had very little to complain about the few times we have been there and a great deal to like.Very large menu, very low prices, food both conventional and somewhat exotic cooked right, friendly people.You want ambience perhaps? Sorry. Take your date to the Savoy in Rome or Delmonico's in North Utica but be prepared to spend a bit more.Best, Terry
