Shavon Jefferson is the owner and founder of Elevating Minds, Inc. Ms. Jefferson is a licensed, independent, clinical social worker, who has over six years’ experience with youth and families involved in the child welfare and juvenile justice system. Ms. Jefferson earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of the District of Columbia, and her Master s Degree in Social Work from Howard University. In addition, Ms. Jefferson is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Psychology, specializing in Social Transformation at the Saybrook Graduate School & Research Center.
