My experience at Staples might've been the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Now most times I am patient with seasonal employees or younger kids who have their first job while in school, but to be treated so horribly by the store's GENERAL MANAGER, you know there is not only something wrong with the store but also the way each and every employee is trained. Customer service is non-existent. I feel bad for every single employee that is trained there, especially if it is their first job, because the next customer service job they have will be an eye-opening experience of how you are actually supposed to treat customers. She felt the need to argue with me and almost not allow me to return a perfectly fine computer within the return policy. She claimed that they are a business and have to make money, and with me returning a computer, they "take the hit". So $600 is such a big hit that it can ruin your business, wow I should invest now.

I've always had great service here but on Friday, August 26th around 2:00 was the worst. I waited in line for more than 10 minutes while the cashier called for the manager over and over again to get a locked up item. There were plenty of staff on the floor but none had the key. When the cashier asked where he was to another staff member she was told he was on break. What responsible manager goes on break and doesn't leave the key with another staff member? FINALLY he came and got the item BUT when I spoke to him about my long wait he turned and walked off like I the customer was insignificant. Next time I'll just go to Office Depot even though I like Staples far better. Sad that they treat customers so shabbily.
