The Village Children and Family Services (VCFS) is a company founded on the desire to provide individuals residing in the Commonwealth of Virginia with quality mental health supportive services. VCFS provides in-home mental health services to both men and women between the ages of twenty-one (21) and sixty-five (65).

Mental Health Support Services Village Children & Family Services (VCFS) provides Mental Health Support Services (MHSS) that are time limited training and support that are provided on an as needed case basis in conjunction with individual counseling sessions. Money Management Improve money management skills Develop budgeting skills Interactive hands-on assistance with money planning and saving techniques, assisting with landlords, creditors and bill collectors Healthcare Coordination Have the opportunity to develop a better understanding of health related topics and issues Assess and incorporate into service plan or referred to the appropriate agency if the needs are outside the range of services provided Socialization Services Train to help improve mental health and positive social interactions Practice the skills taught in individual session (socially acceptable communication skills, positive self image, self esteem building, networking and socially appreciate behaviors) to help increase confidence and positive interactions Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Training Receive help with consistently engaging in ADL skills Receive training on personal care activities necessary for everyday living Given the opportunity to practice daily living activities in a supportive environment (in the home and community as warranted)
