Located in Cherry Hill, N.J., Cherry Hill Police Department has more than 140 trained police officers. It supports neighborhood watch programs, community policing initiatives and township-wide alliance against alcohol and drug abuse. The department has investigative, community relations, and traffic and technical services divisions. Cherry Hill Police Department has a specialized unit that is responsible for investigating drug-related offenses, intelligence gathering, liquor licensing, firearm applications, computer crimes, Internet frauds and identity thefts. It also provides animal control, traffic safety, recovery of stolen property and information services, as well as sex offender information.
