Within a few minutes of arriving here, I discovered my dog eating poison bait. After extricating it from her, I looked for a vet and I North Straits Animal Clinic. The lady who answered was very kind as well as helpful, but later I had more questions. By this time it was closed but was referred to an on call vet. Dr Hardwick helped me but also suggested I call a poison help line. Later in the evening Dr Hardwick called back to see how she was feeling. I was so impressed because we were no YET clients but will be.

I am visiting from Chicago and brought my little dog with me. I woke up in the middle of the night to find my dog throwing up, acting very strange, crying and overall not looking well. My dog is my fur-child so I quickly Google 24 hr vets in Cheboygan and although there wasn't one and I was soon panicking I quickly found this Vet Practice with an emergency number for the doctor. I called and he picked up right away. He agreed to meet me at the vet office within 1/2 an hour. It was overall a pleasant experience and I am so so so thankful that he was willing to get up in the middle of the night and check out my little pup. I will be forever greatful for your pleasant mannor and quick response. My little fur-child is safe and happy now, thank you so much!
