I wish they would return to delivery. Great fried shrimp and Mongolian dishes. I ordered egg rolls for school smorgasbord and they were a huge hit.

There was a time where I would see a one start review for this place and would think that whoever wrote that review must have been a moron. Nowadays, I know I was the moron for thinking this place was without its many, many flaws. I was first brought here by a fellow WTAMU (the local university) student my freshman year when Sayakomarn’s was still in its old location. A little packed at times, but always worth the coziness and whatever wait time that came with it. I would continue to bring all my friends and family to this place up until this restaurant had changed its appearance. It was then that Sayakomarn’s had fallen from its former grace.

Plates from the restaurant suddenly became repeated misses instead of hits. The servers just seemed to lose all interest in serving the customers. The consistent mess that came from this establishment was a dish seemingly mastered by the older restaurant; sesame chicken was my favorite. Whenever I called in a to-go order from the new Sayakomarn’s, the chicken would seemingly be way too tough to chew, more fried breading than chicken, or missing any sort of breading whatsoever. Too, the rice was my favorite part of the meal, but order it late enough from Sayakomarn’s and it will taste like it was cooked the previous day or with obscene amounts of oil.

The last time (and my final time ever) I went pass the doors to Sayakomarn’s was with my boyfriend. I do not know if those servers just had something against seeing two guys together, but it took that lady who was serving us when the restaurant wasn’t even busy or full 25 minutes to take our order, 60 minutes to get us our food, and then the final insult, she brought me the wrong dish. That is when you, Sayakomarn’s, lost a customer forever.

I would like to pay homage to what Sayakomarn’s once was. It is only a shell of its former self nowadays and should be avoided at all costs.

If “tl;dr”, this restaurant was once a local gem and went to crap when it updated itself.
