I am 1st generation from Italy. The restaurant part of it is bad. If you like real Italian food you will not like this place. Their food tastes worse than Olive Garden. Their food has always been way over cooked. The sauces lack flavor. The veal was soggy and gross. I had an incident where an employee in the deli department asked my mom where in Italy she was from cause my mom and he were speaking Italian to one another. My mom told him Sicily and he said, " oh your not Italian, you people are African". I complained to the owner who did not even apologize. She said your mom doesn't look offended. So not only does their food suck so does their attitude. I told the owner I would not be returning there, and she said we don't need your business. I don't know about you, but being self employed I always go above and beyond to keep people happy.

The people are friendly. The ambiance is good. They give good sized portions of the food. The Italian sauce is just fair. The veal is o.k. The Lasagna is good consistency but nothing special. This needs to be enhanced by a greater passion for the food. It looks good but lacks the quality it suggests. However in the pastry, the canole is the best. Overall, what is missing is a little sweet and a little spice.

This deli really knows how to slice meats and cheese and is always more than helpful.
