The Buffalo Employment and Training Center assists residents to gain employment and employers in finding qualified workers in Buffalo, N.Y. It provides a wide variety of free job search tools, including computers, Internet access, job search workshops, telephones, copiers and variety of job postings. It offers various employer services, such as employee recruitment and screening, customized training program development, specialized assistance for startups and expansions and basic skills remedial assistance. Its youth services include counseling and career advice, general equivalency diploma preparation, after school and summer job opportunities, part-time employment related to vocational studies and resume development and job hunting and interview assistance.
