I have yet to see this provider. However, so far I am impressed. Like "most" MH providers, I have been able to speak directly to him and not a staff member. He called me back within 24 hours and was very easy to talk to on the phone. One discrepancy I have is that I am unable to do any research on the providers in the area. Schools they attended, specialties, books they have written or special interests they might have in certain realms on psychology. This might be an issue that most MH providers keep from patients. So far I very personable and from a previous comment, I can see there does lie a good sense of humor. So far, from calling around, the MH providers in Maine seem like an outstanding group.

If there were words for beyond "highly recommended," they would have to be for Dr. Missbach. Not only does he taylor his sessions according to the patients' needs, he is genuinely kind, compassionate, and extremely intellectual. I could not say enough about him without sounding like some gushing roadie, but suffice it to say, I would recommend him to everyone. If only there were more doctors in the world like him, there would more people that not only understood themselves better, understood others better, but to be happy.My experience with him has been wonderful....he can be witty, hysterically funny, and poignant, while at the same time getting the point that needs to be made in a way that is not condecending, sarcastic, or treating you as just another patient to pay the bills.If you want someone who truly cares, he is the doctor for you. If you want to be treated as just another cash cow, you won't find it with him, you'll have to go elsewhere.
