The school is new and it is very clean,.. The test is not that bad. Its better than some of them entrance exams for nursing schools because they give bogus questions that have nothing to do with the field so I give the school credit for issuing the right kind of test for nursing students. Im so ready and focused to start in march !

I took the entrance exam and passed. It wasn't easy but it wasn't hard either. You definitely need to know your basic math and be able to solve questions like converting fraction, decimals and percentages into each other. Other problems solving and equations. I would advise anyone to definitely review by going online and studying through regent maths. Now I have an interview. Keep in mind $100 to take test and if you pass another $50 for the application.Once accepted another $500 for registration fee. It did look clean, nice and spacious. Small group class so everyone gets their needed attention. This school is only 1 of 4 LPN licensed nursing programs in Brooklyn.

Well on my way to pay for my entrance exam I was told that I had to take the test the same day. I was nervous n scared as hell nevertheless I past. Test is 100 to take it again is 75(if u failed the first time also you are tested on 9-10 math and reading/vocAbulary comprehension) ... When you past your set up for an interview then it's 50 dollars for the application ... School is very costly but it's a 12-14 month program guareented licensed Lpn ... First day is Sept 16th I'm excited good luck guys hope this was helpful

The school is new so it does not offer financial aide. Can't wait until they do! Tuition is 18,000.00 and yes if you do not pay you will not move on. If i don't pay my light, phone,or gas it will get cut off so I am familiar with the concept. If you study the book not just the class teachings you will do fine. Find out for yourself if you are interested because these reviews are a bit biased. Hope this helps!

Anyone, how is the nursing class going? Is the school stand by their word, do you have conflict with the school? If so, what is it. These are general questions for students who are doing the nursing clinical part of the program now.

Yes all of that is true but because it is a new school you must pay $18,000 tuition out of your own pocket because financial aid and all other federal grants are not yet accepted. You must pay $100. for an entrance exam. I live next door to the school and would rather go there for my own convenience. They have a uniform and are organized but I cannot afford to pay the entire tuition. I was accepted to 3 Cuny colleges so I will start school in September.

There are a lots of false information going around about the school. The school is a new school with no graduating class as yet; that is expected with any new school. after a year there should be graduating class, then you can draw a conclusion but, for now, give them a chance to exist. I took the test and it was not so easy; but if you study 10th or 12th grade math and brush-up on your reading you can pass. I passed the test.

I took the test and it wasn't that easy!!!! You really need to keep your time between the both tests. Unfortunately for me I didn't make the test but have one more chance to retake. As far as the school and class rooms it look great. Looks promising. Just wish that they would lower the price of the class seen that they dont have f/aid..

Anyone interesting in the LPN program should go and take the test. Don't listened to false information without any merit. I went and take the test few days ago and the test was not so easy, but it is doable. The school is clean, the student are friendly, and the clinical lab looks pretty up to date too.

AMG School of LPN is in Brooklyn. The information in the comment below about bus transportation from NY-NJ is false. The only way to know if the school is right for you would be to call or see it in person. Tours are welcomed during business hours. There is no financial aid available yet because this is a new school. However, take it into consideration that LPN schools in NY are slim. And the ones that exist through federal and state funding are difficult to get into given their waiting lists and pre-requisites. Just some information to consider.

The above comment is not true. The school is located at 147 Prince St in the heard of Downtown Brooklyn across from the Metro Tech. It is a beautiful school with high standards. There is no transporting to NJ the classes are held in Brooklyn.
