Owner is Alan Brill, been there for 30 years or so, and is a top notch guy. Good banjo teacher and rates are fair (think he also teaches guitar). Selection isn't always great as his store is small, but he turns inventory and seems to always have something unusual or interesting (he carries new and used). He's sold Gibson, Taylor, Washburn, and others since I've been going there. Amps - Marshall, Line 6, Ibanez, Epiphone I've seen. Deering seems to be the predominant Banjo brand he carries (which are great instruments). He's also custom ordered me a Taylor, and can do that with other brands. Overall is store has a cool factor of 10 and he's honest and very nice. He owns and runs the shop. Highly recommend a visit.
