Love this place. Owner is wonderful and has owned the place for quite some years. Not much to look at but great food and drinks. Definitely suggest it to friends.

I have been a bartender for ten years. I have come here and helped out for special events for the lat eleven years. (The current owner is a new comer.) I know that she really loves her customers, puts out good, cheep, quality food, and doesthe best she can to have good bands. (Musicians are not always dependable.) Only the guilty ones will be upset about that. Yes it is a Meeting place, and a Meat Market. This all depends on why you are there. I have been able to go in there and pick up a date, and go in there and just have a great time dancing with fun people. Just like any place where there ARE PEOPLE, you can have fun. As far as the regulars, you want to go were every body knows your name. Enjoy!

Dark, smokey, loud typical meat market. Any time I went in, I felt noticed a lot of the same people leaving and coming in which made me uncomfortable. Polk County Sheriff's Deputy's sat down the street and watch for people to leave. The drinks are good but not consistant (you need to make sure you get the same bartender if you have a special drink or they will all make them differently). Not my type of place to hang out on a regular basis and not somewhere I would want to meet someone for the first time.
