I have had a very bad experience with Apria re resolution of a bill that was not filed properly as far back as 2009. When you try to get an answer and resolution of the problem from the local branch as well as the billing department, you are told conflicting stories and advised that they file your insurance as a courtesy...they don't have to file. Apria has the worst billing system and the most rude representatives of any company that I know. You would think that after being given the correct insurance information on multiple occasions that they would be able to get a claim billed correctly from 2009 to present. However, they had rather send you to a collection agency, threaten you and take an "I don't care attitude" and not return a phone call to you to try and resolve the issue. I will never use this company again and neither will my husband and family when CPAP needs arise. When companies don't feel the need to keep your business then it's time to move on.
