I'll start off by saying there is one gentlemen there that is very helpful, gives advice on cheaper shipping and helps tape your boxes shut securely.



It ends there. I wasn't allowed to mail a package I had with individually bubble-wrapped glasses with insurance until they insisted I add more bubble wrap. After she "helpfully" gave me some and I had used it in packing as she instructed, she then informed me I had to pay for that. She repeated this several times. I speak English just fine and have excellent comprehension skills. GOT IT.



Then she would not allow me to tape my box closed. The tape I brought and have shipped 5 previous packages with that month with was unacceptable and I was expected to buy the post office's $4 tape. NO. I had my own tape brought to me from home to save the extra extra unneeded expense.



FINALLY, I was allowed to reach the clerk and I made a point of taping it in front of them, because at this time I had been there an hour and just wanted them to know the sting of anger I felt. The clerk was polite and said that wasn't necessary and I didn't need to do that and the tape I had originally was just fine to use. HUH. I knew this, but I wanted them to all know that their line Nazi was ignorant to this knowledge. So I got my package shipped, paid for the bubble wrap and got it insured.



It arrived BROKEN.



This is the second package I have shipped from this post office that has arrived broken. I'm thinking there may be a connection with this hub?



I recommend the W Mercury Post Office. So far all employees are polite, give good packing advice, don't haggle you on unnecessary expenses and JUST GET IT SHIPPED.
