I love music and also music instrumental.Trumpet is my favorite instruments. My son's school had returned the instrument for repairs. The Music & Arts sales rep for the school gave him a new instrument and returned his for repairs.

I went to Farmingdale Music Center for my daughter's NYSSMA music and Valerie was super helpful. She offered to download and print only the song I needed, which I wasn't even aware was allowed by NYSSMA standards. She assured me it was fine as long as it was done by them and and we had a receipt showing that we paid for it (a whole $6.00), and provided me with all of the documentation for my daughter to hand to the adjudicator. She not only saved me from spending $40 on a book that we would never use again but we walked out with the music right then. No other music store has ever offered me this option and I am grateful that I did not have to add another music book to the collection that we already have. If you want fair, personalized service for whatever your music needs are I highly suggest going to Farmingdale Music Center first before going anywhere else. They are beyond compare.

After many difficulties (and rip-offs) trying to get my 1927 Cundy-Bettoney Silva-Bet metal clarinet restored, I was lucky enough to find Frank LiCausi. Most clarinet techs don't like to deal with these historic instruments (they take twice the time and effort), but Frank took what had been an unplayable, botched repair/repad attempt from a clearly unknowledgeable tech in AZ and turned this instrument back into a bird that again sings like an angel from the peak of the Jazz Age. All I can say is, thanks Frank, wish I'd known to have come to you to begin with! More to come, the Silva-Bet's sister (a Boston Wonder) is now in his hands...

Frank and Val have provided the cummunity with a great source for instrument repair, purchases, and private studio lessons. I have gone to Frank for instrument repair on numerous occasions (bass guitar, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, flute) and his service got my instruments playing better than they played when I first got them! I highly recommend coming here for all of your musical need.

I have been going to Farmingdale Music for years for all my instrument repairs and checkups. Frank is an amazing technician and I am always 100% satisfied with the work performed. I highly recommend Frank for all your repair work. We are so lucky to have this type of instrument specialist right in our backyard here on Long Island.

If you have a guitar that needs work, look no further than Farmingdale Music Center. Frank's craftsmanship is nothing short of amazing. I have a 20 year old Martin guitar that I had pretty much considered unplayable and was looking at buying a new acoustic. I brought it to Frank and he totally transformed this guitar into a beast. I can't put this guitar down. The action, neck and sound is incredible . This is a follow-up to me bringing a semi-hollow body electric that took a beating as it was shipped from Las Vegas. Frank brought it back to life at a very reasonable cost in an unbelievable timeframe. I've had guitars set-up at Sam Ash and it's ok (and takes a week), but going forward Frank can consider having an annuity from me as he will do the set-ups on all of my guitars.

Quality repair service from an honest business. Good parking too, even though there was construction at the time of my experiences here.

I had been wanting to learn ukulele for a while when an online search turned up the Farmingdale Music Center. I visited the store, signed up for lessons and was able to purchase my uke and a soft case. The next week I started lessons with Rich and found him to be easygoing and very knowledgeable. He took the time to research and instruct me in several songs that I specifically requested. I now know my open chords, some bar chords and can play pretty much whatever I want. Thanks for a great experience!

Brought my takamine acoustic guitar in for a setup and some troubleshooting. I have brought it before to two other "music stores" one of them being guitar center. Frank, the owner and tech was a gentleman, patient and explained the problems and what he'll do to repair it. Needless to say, my guitar never felt so comfortable and never sounded so great. I thought the other repair shop I used to go to did a great job, but since Farmingdale Music was closer, I decided to take the chance and I'm glad I did. The price was fair, if not good, the work done was excellent, but most importantly, Frank is honest and treats your instruments as if they were his own. Highly recommended and I'll be sure to go back when I need another setup.

My son has been attending music lessons at the Farmingdale Music Center for years and we have always been pleased with the high quality and nurturing attitude of my son's clarinet and French horn instructors. All instruments we have purchased or rented have been of a good quality and reasonable price. So when my son inherited my father's vintage clarinet, Frank was a technician we knew we could trust completely to overhaul and restore it. Well, he exceeded expectations. We received a fully restored clarinet that plays beautifully, and we couldn't be happier with the results. A definite YES to Farmingdale Music Center.

I was searching for a shop to get my daughter's sax tuned up and found the Farmingdale Music Center...What a pleasant surprise nestled in the heart of Farmingdale. Frank was pleasant and accommodating...He was able to service the Sax within hours..saving me a second trip back...Which I appreciated ! Frank is a master at his craft...and his shop is a testament to his years of service in the community..His shop is a gem and a great place to get your instrument fixed...Frank got my daughters instrument back on track and she is ready to blow them away at the Holiday Jazz show...best to Frank and Valerie... thanks again.

After being a regular customer for years, over a $10 question where the manager felt that she may lose $10, she became rude and lost future money. I pulled my kids out and registered them in another music center and they have been taking classes in the other place for years. Money that could had been spent there. I wish them luck, but I won't recommend them to anyone

The on premise repairs and quick repair times are a must and Farmingdale Music Center has always delivered on these accounts. Even some major chain music stores will not do relatively standard repairs on sight and send it to another one of their locations. I trust Frank with repairs on any of my instruments. I have brought brass and woodwind repairs there for years and just dropped off my violin there as well.

I'm a long-time trumpet player, and this summer I found a pocket Cornet at a garage sale that was roughly 150 years old. I brought it to Frank to see if he could clean it and bring it back to playing condition, and he did a fantastic job. He took great care on a pretty challenging repair/maintenance job, and the horn is playing way better than I expected. I'll definitely be returning to Farmingdale Music Center when I need maintenance done on any of my horns.

I've been coming to the Farmingdale Music Center since I first started playing instruments. Thanks to their tutors I've become adept at the clarinet, alto saxophone, flute, and the tuba. They provide excellent service in their retail shop, tutoring services, and the owner's workshop. I highly recommend for a musician of any age, instrument, or level of ability.

A big shout out an awesome job to Farmingdale Music Center! After an unfortunate accident at school with my daughter's flute Valery stayed open a few minutes so I could get there after work, and Frank worked late so I could have it back right away for school for her today. They always have the music needed for competitions or will get it quickly. This is a one stop for your music needs and affordable to boot and right here in town! Thanks again both of you for everything!

Valerie and Frank are awesome. I am a professional horn player and Frank has gotten me out of a jam a few times now. His solder work is solid. I would have missed a few gigs if it wasn't for him.
