The best Landscaping business!!!! They do immaculate work

Extremely satisfied with the work this group did at our house over a period of two days. The men were on time, had all the supplies and worked hard. My yard looks great. Mr. Williams stays with his crew and the crew was fantastic. The second day of work was only J.T. and Eric and I cannot believe the amount of work they got done and had such fantastic attitudes. Will definitely put them at the top of my list for future projects and will recommend them to all.

Disclaimer: I've written a review about how great Affordable Cuts treated me on a previous project. This review is of a follow up project where they installed a new Bermuda lawn a year ago at my home in Suffolk. I waited this long because I wanted to give a fair review, and because I know sometimes we initially get excited, write great review and then later regret it. Folks- my lawn is fabulous. Best in the neighborhood, by far. David and his staff killed off my mixture of dandelions, skimpy fescue, crabgrass, dallisgrass, etc., tilled it up and removed it, and sprayed the stragglers when they popped up. They filled in ruts with new soil, removed debris and laid down a hybrid bermuda sod. This was a big project- the previous owner had let this property go to pot and it took several weeks to get it right. David was always there- checking on his guys and directing the action. He always listened, answered my calls and addressed my concerns. Number one in my book. Thanks, David!

Neighbors were using affordable cuts so I asked for a quote. He gave me one within minutes and the following week our tree was removed. His quote was fair for the work that needed doing. His crew were friendly and worked efficiently. They were great at clearing up after themselves. I would recommend them to do anything in the yard. Dave the owner kept us informed about when they would arrive and called to make sure that we were satisfied with the work done. Great customer service.

the company took out the every large pine trees two days ago. One was less than two feet from the house. They not only did not damage the house but they did not damage the landscape under the trees. For the work, the price was reasonable. I would recommend them all day long. They even came back two days later to make sure all was cleaned up.

We've used Affordable Cuts for several years. They have layer pavers, trimmed crepe myrtle trees, cleaned up lawn debris, cut down trees and cleaned out gutters in Virginia Beach. David Williams is always responsive, his crews are professional and the work is always first class. Our home in Virginia Beach is a second home and David and his crew are usually working when we are not in the area. I trust Affordable Cuts to do the work without any on-site presence from me. David and his crew did an outstanding job of trimming 3 overgrown wax myrtles, and another large tree that was overtaking our house. I greatly appreciated his professionalism - he returned calls promptly, was able to complete the job within a week of our first phone call, was truly interested in completely the job to our satisfaction and did a fantastic job of cleaning up all of the debris. David removed two tall trees for me in Norfolk. One on my commercial property and another at my home. BEST Tree service in tidewater. I've used his service for the past 15 years and never had any complaints. I highly recommend.

David and his staff are fantastic. They took our jungle of a yard and tamed it- it looks great and we have received numerous compliments about the new look. David did the work for half of what the big landscaping guys charge and even threw in some freebies. We will be using him again in the spring to replace our lawn. We are very pleased and highly recommend Affordable Cuts for all your landscaping needs.

This was the finishing touch of our house. We had six trees removed and three guys came in and cleaned it up. Put sod down and did our flower beds. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. paid to have a nice zoysia lawn laid down, after being told this will be the best looking lawn in the neighborhood and $1800 later all i have is dead sod and bunch of weeds. Then i was told there is nothing they could do to help and there is no warranty. Now i have to start all over from scratch with a whole lot less money in my pocket.

I have used Affordable Cuts for 2 years now. David Williams came and gave us a free estimate, and showed up with his workers the very next day. I can't say enough about what a mess our yard was. They trimmed our trees, bushes, hauled away debris, and got rid of all our poison oak...they even came back the next day and cleaned our gutters! David Williams runs a first-rate company. He promptly responded to all our phone calls and requests. Most of our neighbors who saw what he did with our yard, now use him too. We have used pricier landscapers before and will never go back to them again. Affordable Cuts is the best there is! Thank you David for making our home beautiful again.

My parent's yard has been neglected for many years and was in need of serious help to get it back in shape. David Williams, owner of Affordable Cuts, provided a fair and reasonable price to get the yard cleaned up and suggested a plan to help with ongoing maintenance. David and his crew worked extremely hard to take care of weeding of flower beds, hedge and tree trimming, edging and mowing. They cleaned up all the lawn waste and removed it from the site. My parents and I are very pleased with the service provided by Affordable Cuts, so much so that we now have them providing regular lawn service. After they had finished, my comment was "now the yard looks like I remember it looking when I was growing up", it looks like "home" again. The owner was friendly, efficient, and completed the job I needed done earlier than promised. He made a point of being there on the first and last day of the job. The crew used on the project I requested were all professional, hard-working, and polite. David Williams, the owner, would not accept a penny of payment until I was satisfied with the job. Affordable Cuts did a great job with my rental property in Norfolk. David was very responsive and gave me a quick estimate. During the estimation process he listened to my goals (keep cost low and set the property up for easy maintenance by the new tenant), and he tailored his recommendations to meet my goals. The crew did a great job and David followed up with me afterwards to ensure my happiness. I also greatly appreciated the crew's respect for my neighbors, ensuring it was ok to enter their yard when the need arose. Work done included: cutting 35 ft tree branch, removing 7 ft shrubs including root ball, removing small trees, cutting back massive bushes while ensuring their survival, removal of raised gardens, lawn cut and edging. The crew also did a great job clearing away all debris. I came back to a perfectly sculpted yard, 100% ready and easy to maintain.
