Most of the staff very pleasant and helpful however the actual eye doc needs to lose the crotchety attitude. Bad for business. Oh btw the prices aren't too bad. !!

I have been coming to Valu Vison on Genesee for probably 20 years or more for all my glasses, etc. and never had a problem. I went in last week and was totally disappointed as to how rude they were. I stood at the desk for at least 10 minutes and everyone acted like I was invisible. Mind you the girl that was usually there was not there I think she was out to lunch as she later returned but went into the back and never came out. There was an older lady that kept going behind the desk and would not even look at me and she knew I was there. Finally I walked out and went else wear. Another man was getting irritated also. Sorry but you just lost my business.

Highly recommended. The staff is both experienced and friendly. I have been going here for about ten years and haven't had any problems whatsoever.

I love the people here! They are so friendly. I phoned the wrong optical store today, by accident. The man who answered was so rude. , I told him that "I obviously have the wrong optical store" he promptly hung up. What a missed opportunity to may be have snagged a new customer. When I called Value Vision, they were pleasant and courteous. They checked my insurance, told me what I was entitled to, and gave me hours of operations. I am a NFTA family member and we have been using them for years. They have a good selection of frames, and they take care of you. I highly recommend them!

I have been going to Value Vision since I was a kid and love that I can pick any frame out in the office and the price for my glasses will be the same! For years I never had insurance and when I finally did the receptionist explained it so easily. I even brought a few of my friends to the office because they could not believe I paid so little for my glasses. They found so many frames they liked they ended up getting a pair or 2 because the prices are so reasonable. The pre-exam and exam are thorough and the doctor explains any change in my presciption. I love it here!
