This place is so sketchy! I agree with the review to tour the school first, but they will put on a good show for you and once you enroll your child it is a different story!

Everyone at this center have always been so nice to my two children and I. All of the teacher know just about every childs names that attend the center which is very amazing. My daughter LOVES it here and comes home everyday singing songs that she has learned. She looks forward to going to A+ each day. Not sure where all of these bad reviews are coming from but my family has never had a bad experience here! The two teacher in the infant room are very sweet and attentive to my son and Miss Meghan is amazing with my daughter! Great place and Great staff!!

This place should not be called a learning center .. If your child requires more work and time they will call you and make up false accusations to get you to pick up your child but have no feedback to help prevent any further issues for the parents to try at home.. I was not impressed at all. Tour the school first!

The staff is very unorganized..was very disappointed with how the place looked inside :.not very clean.

My baby has been gong to A+ since he was 6 weeks. He is getting ready to move to toddlers. He will miss the ladies in the infant room. They were so loving and sweet with him. I never worried about leaving him. I feel really confident it will be the same way in the toddler class. The teachers sing, do crafts, play games and just seem so interested in making the childrens day fun. I am so happy we found A+!!!!

A bad experience is a major under-statement. I wouldn't take my child here UNLESS they are old enough to talk to you at the end of the day so you can ask how their day was. Infants and young toddlers-no way!!

This is the perfect place to send your children.....if they don't require any care or attention. I don't know how they can call themselves a childcare center!

My child started at the program not long ago, and she loves the teachers. The one star comments seem to have a bad experience, but my family loves it. The staff are so loving and the Directors are amazing. I hope this helps any family that is trying to find a facility for their child. It's not like a bad apple it's wonderful all the way to the core.

Running a daycare is not about "pleasing" people. It's about caring for your children when you can't be with them. You have to be able to trust these people with your children's lives and well being. That's not "pleasing" someone. I'm screaming from the roof top as we'll...DON'T take your kids here!!!

This facility is wonderful! Although you cannot please everyone they have pleased me and my family. My child loves it there and I wouldn't take them anywhere else. I wish I could keep my child there instead of taking him to public schools. I'm screaming from the roof top about the facility. Tour A+ and make your own judgment you won' t be sorry!

Yes please take the persons advice to tour the facility, pretty sure you will like it. However, if you decide to send your children here and give this daycare your business, shortly after you will begin to see all the negatives. It is just like a bad apple. Nice looking on the outside, but not so much on the inside.

This childcare program is very loving. It seems that the people who are giving bad reviews no longer goes there for a good reason. Everyone that works there makes everyone feel welcomed! I would say tour A+ yourself because you won't have the same experience of the person that gave A+ a one star.

Funny how 7 of these reviews were all placed within a matter of 2 days. They must have told all the staff to complete a 5-star review in order to pick up their pay checks. BEWARE this daycare is PHONEY just like these reviews!!

I recommend A+ to everyone! They don't just get your baby/child through the day and consider it a success if they go home alive (like another daycare I know!). They fill the day with activities, lessons, crafts, music, play time, dancing, galore! A+ has developed a wonderful program and my family is so glad we found them!

My daughter loves it here! She's in the Pre-K program and can't wait to go to school everyday. The things that she comes home to show me is amazing to me at her age. The staff is wondeful and are extremely helpful and comforting. Each time my daughter was sick, she would be snuggled in the director's office with someone, making sure she felt comforted while waiting for me to arrive. I feel like I'm leaving her with family everyday, which certainly makes the separation a little more bearable. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a creative and comforting environment for their children! A+ gets an A+ in my book!

A+ Childcare & Learning Center has to be one of the most top notch child care centers in the area. Staff is nurturing an very attentive to the child needs. The teachers within the school are always up beat and the day care managers on staff make sure that if the teachers are sick they are sent home so they don't get your child sick as well. Very respectful, clean and secure (the most important part to me.) A+ Childcare and Learning Center is "CHEERS" to my son and full of love! Thank you all for being such a great facility!

This place is top of the line in daycare centers. The staff is so friendly, warm and welcoming. They clearly love the children here! I love that they provide a warm and loving environment for my child. The learning that takes place here is amazing! My child loves everthing about this center, from the teachers to the great meals they provide. We have been attending A+ for years and I look forward to many more years here!

My son has been attending A+ since he was 1 1/2 years old and now attends their before and after school program. I visited every daycare center in Yorktown and Newport News before I decided on A+ and I have been happy with that decision since day one. We love this center. Everyone is so kind and welcoming and the teachers are top of the line. I drop my son off in the morning without a worry in this world about his well being. The summer camp program is amazing as well! The field trips that my son went on this summer were more than I could have ever imagined! Days that are spent in the center are filled with fun activities, exercise and knowledge - that goes for all ages and classes. I couldn't ask for anything more for my child. I highly recommend this center to everyone.

I absolutely love A+ Childcare. He just graduated from the infant room after spending the past 10 months there. From the very first day I felt comfortable leaving my tiny baby in the arms of A+ caregivers. When I drop my son off he is met with hugs and smiles. They don't just take care of my son, they care about him in a loving way. They tailored his care to meet his needs/my wishes and have always been patient and understanding of my questions and concerns. I called to check on my baby a lot & they were patient and kind every time, and actually let me hear them check on him while I was on the phone. As a new mom I can't thank them enough! His transition to the toddler room was so smooth - I am amazed at how well my little guy has adjusted so quickly. When he was showing signs of growing out of the infant room they eased him into the toddler routine, letting him play with the "big kids" until he was really ready. I can't wait to see what art project he brings home next. :-) Love it!
