Food is uneven. I've had the pizza twice. The first time it was delicious. Today, August 14, it was just awful. Tasted like cardboard with a thin layer of tomato sauce. It was dry and overbaked. The waiter was a SNOB who never came back to the table to ask how the food was.

We loved our first visit to celebrate a dear friend's birthday & can't wait to go back! Thyme has an elegant decor which puts you in a great mood. We received excellent service, enjoyed delicious appetizers & a delightful meal. Everyone enjoyed the presentation of our entrees & loved them so much we refused to share. Our meal was such a pleasure, we stayed until we had room for dessert. I felt like it was my birthday when we left & look forward to returning to celebrate life or a special occasion. It's 45 minutes away from us & the culinary experience was well worth it.

New place, about four weeks now. I had dinner with three friends two weeks ago. Great food, intimate and sophisticated interior, open kitchen and two serious chefs with top backgrounds. I spent a long career in NYC and dining at the best there, including some of the old private dining clubs and Thyme competes for fine dining, but without the NY C price tag. Classic American menu. Reservations on weekend are already more than just a good idea.

If you live anywhere near Yorktown Heights or will drive to get there, go to Thyme. They are new but well worth it. The lighting and the decor make for an ambient semi intimate setting and the food was more than enough and cooked to perfection. Staff is efficent and quick. I personally have no complaints about the interior or food or staff. My 1 sugguestion is to get more lights outside.Because of where it is, it sits alone and if you are not careful you will pass it by. Go,try, and enjoy !
