best physicians and personal care in New Hanover county \ they care about you. and are very personable and you. are a person, Not a number to every one that works there: I would recommend them only after trying other general practitioners in Wilmington. NC

I would highly recommend this practice! In particular, Marion Gull, PA..she is wonderful & by far the best example of great chair-side manner! I have never felt rushed during an appointment and she truely cares for the health and all around well-being of her patients. I have always had white coat syndrom until I started seeing her! I have only had one bad experience with the other female PA that works there & her yelling at me instead of calmly approaching a situation...so I havent seen her since...I think her name is Carrie or Cheryl?? But the office staff is friendly and you never have to wait long to be seen! What a great team!

I highly recommend Pelican Family Medicine, in particular Carrie Waters, for their professional yet personal care that they give each patient that walks in the door. I have had nothing but great experiences even through hard times and bad diagnosis with this place. I recommend them to all of my friends and family looking for a great primary doctor. I have also seen Pamela Baker before she started with Pelican and I have nothing but great things to say about her...Pelican found a great practioner when they found her, if I were in Burgaw, I would certainly see her! Regardless, this practice has great people and provides great patient care on every level. There is also very little, if any wait time for my appointments...I don't think I have ever waited longer than 15 minutes to see Carrie Waters, even when it looks busy...yet she still doesn't rush me out of there, she gives me ample time to discuss anything that might be going on and do what needs to be done.
