  Since 1955, Willow Grove Day Camp has carefully designed a camp experience that includes the activities that kids enjoy most and uses them to encourage personal accomplishment and group cooperation. Campers build self- confidence and develop positive attitudes by trying and succeeding at diverse new activities. By interacting with their peers, campers also learn the importance of participating with others and building successful relationships. We support and celebrate each camper's abilities and encourage our campers to be active, proud, courageous, responsible and cooperative.
  
  We also understand that these goals are best accomplished in a friendly, safe, comfortable and clean environment. At Willow Grove Day Camp there is "more to do, more to be".

Summer fun at Willow Grove Day Camp is the chance to participate in favorite activities, trying new things, and making new friends.

More than just "more to do", we think Willow Grove Day Camp also gives campers "more to be". We take very seriously our role in meeting children's developmental needs. So we instill a spirit in our staff that makes them conscious of the real affect they have for campers; building courage, sensing community and taking responsibility, all in the fun-filled atmosphere of camp.

Some people expect that summer camp is basically about cooling off in the pool and gaining some new sports skills. Those things definitely happen here, but we do all we can to go way beyond the expected; to give every camper "more to be more to do".

We are proud of our accredited status in the American Camp Association. Our status is your assurance about the credentials of the summer camp you choose. To best promote high professional practices, ACA undertakes an exhaustive program of camp accreditation. This evaluation process assures you our compliance with over 300 aspects of camp administration, particularly those related to program quality and the health and safety of campers and staff.
