Spring Returns!A madrigal concert celebrating the passing of the seasons Sung by Renaissance Revival Michael McCarthy, Artistic Director The annual transition from the bleak cold of winter to "the fairest month" of May has been cause for celebration throughout history. Our concert features madrigals and chansons from the Renaissance period, including works by Weelkes, Morley, Monteverdi and many others, with seasonal themes from winter to spring. Come celebrate with us as we take a musicala cappella(and occasional period instruments) journey back in time. Renaissance Revival, a 15-voicea cappellaensemble of men and women, specializes in vocal music of the 15th and 16th centuries, and performs in period costumes designed and created by its members. Free-will donations accepted, to support the Covenant Soup Kitchen and Renaissance Revival.
