I took a 2 year old vacuum cleaner into the place because it lost suction. I assumed it was the motor since I've had several recent purchases of appliances that didn't last long because if poor quality. I was advised that in order to find the problem they should do a diagnostic test of the vacuum to determine what was wrong. This would include new filters. I agreed because I had no idea what the problem was. It turned out that it was a plugged hose. Nothing more.

I was charged $120.

Why not stop at unplugging the hose? You'd think that would be the first thing to check. Give me a call and stop all other work. Nope. $120 for a plugged hose which I could have done myself for free; or they could have charged me, what, maybe $40, tops.

When I built my house 14 years ago, I called and asked Gary stop out and give me an estimate for a central vac system. Not only was he very knowledgeable, he great to work with and his guys did a great job on the installation. About 3 years ago I added a few more outlets in my basement and Gary not only remembered me, he gave gave me a good deal on the supplies I needed to do the job myself. Customer service is very important to me especially AFTER the sale and Gary gets that.

I've had a lot of vaccums in my day, but i'll have to say i've never been more happier with the one I purchased from Vacuum Cleaner Centers a few months ago...
