Produce Junction is the BEST place to buy produce, hands-down...better than the A-town Farmer's Market, better than the other local "discount" produce places, and better than the grocery store. They carry most everything you would want plus some things you would not find at other places, and the produce is first quality (not old, bruised, sad looking stuff like you find elsewhere) and fresh. The prices are AMAZING. EG: you can get a bag of 2 heads of Romaine lettuce (huge heads, I mean huge!) for like $2. A pint of cherry tomatoes runs about $1.50. A bag of 8 lemons is about $2. The only thing that can be a negative is that some items are sold in bulk (ex: 2 lbs of zucchini for $xx) so if you don't need that much you might have waste. I sometimes buy items like that and go halfs with a friend, or I just keep it all and what I don't use gets cooked up to go in the dog's dinner (if appropriate) or in the compost pile. It's a cash only business, and they don't use registers or anything.. They just add the prices in their heads as they go through your items, so my advice is to keep your own running tab of your cost as you shop so you don't get overcharged by accident (has happened to me on occassion).

This place has all sorts of fruits and veggies, and a great selection of plants and seasonal items. The prices are great too! The only thing is if you are like me and like to handpick your fruits and vegggies,you are out of luck here- they are all weighed and bagged on the opposite side of the counter, they just hand them to you, BUT I have never gotten any over-ripened produce-it has always been good. I am VERY picky and I shop here on a regular basis. They ONLY TAKE CASH! no credit cards and NO receipts! The staff is mostly Mexican-they are always pleasant to deal with--I love this place!

Produce market is a great resource for bulk produce and flowers. I was able to put together pretty swank last minute wedding centerpieces with the floral selection I found. With every market you need to be there early to score! My overall experience has always been positive! An added bonus is that you can even order flowers and produce ahead to ensure the quality you are looking for...The Staff is super helpful and friendly- stop in and JUDGE FOR YOURSELF...

good parking. great prices. good selection. minor negatives- 1 when it's busy there aren't enough carts. 2- not all employees have great english comprehension. 3- there are 3 separate registers and each register is item specific. But, the signs telling you which register handles vegies and which handles flowers is pretty well labeled. So you really just have the inconvenience getting in one line and then another to pay for everyting. None of these negatives would stop me from shopping there. It is a nice place with great prices. note- this site would be better if it had store hours included.

Good place, but make sure you know exactly how much your produce should cost when you get up to pay. They do it all in their heads (no registers) and often come up with some random price that has been as much as $4 more than it should be for me.

If you like good deals without frills this is the place for you. Cash and carry Fruits and veggies some in bulk. I love getting my bag of limes (7-10) for a dollar. It's not fancy but the savings are worth it.

excellent place to get a lot of fruits and vegetables for not a lot of money. The lines move quickly inside, don't be discouraged by a packed parking lot. I got through the fruit and vegetable lines midday on a Saturday in less than 15 minutes. Definetly worth a try. Excellent prices on flowers too.
