      The Children's Home of Wheeling, founded in 1870, provides a range of care services to children and their families. It provides residential services to abused and neglected boys from 12 to 18 years of age who have been diagnosed with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders. The organization offers several on- and off-site child care programs, day camp and before- and after-school activities. Its community education training center offers specialized workshops for professionals, service providers and other interested people. The organization s off-site programs offer a combination of indoor and outdoor activities that include age-appropriate activities, homework assistance, tutoring, and arts and crafts. Its day camp involves students in sports classes, history and science programs, wall climbing, sign language and book clubs. The organization is located in Wheeling, W.Va.
