0Not recommended, very bad experience. To keep it short, we got a second opinion and I'm thankful we did.
i've been taking my dogs to this hospital for over 30 years (lotta dogs) and 3 ownerships. i've never considered changing. everyone involved has always been very caring, from dr. booth to the present.i was SO happy when dr. wimmer bought the practice several years ago....she is the GREATEST! affectionate to my dogs, but a realist when it's time to say goodbye...she was beyond wonderful when we had to put our old girl to sleep last year. and her whole staff is great, too...everybody who works there is marvelous. i love them all. with two old dogs, i should know....i can;t seem to go a month without a visit! and i don't even mind....it's such a nice place to visit!

- Carroll County Veterinary Clinic, located in Westminster, Maryland, is a full service animal hospital, providing quality preventative care and diagnostics, medical, dental, and surgical services, state of the art ultrasound capabilities, digital x-rays, behavioral medicine, sedation grooming, and boarding services; all in a supportive, family environment with separate dog and cat waiting areas and boarding kennels to put your pet at ease.We are proud to be a full service clinic offering soft tissue surgery, wellness/prevention medicine and state of the art internal medicine work-ups all in a relaxed family atmosphere.Ultrasound capabilities: We have a state of the art digital ultrasound with excellent picture quality. We currently offer confident abdominal ultrasound evaluations (evaluating liver, kidneys, spleen, bladder, the gastrointestinal tract and lymph structures as well as abnormal adrenal glands) and are working on getting up to speed on cardiac ultrasound (evaluating heart issues). We also offer pregnancy checking via ultrasound after day 25 of gestation. With ultrasound we can also obtain sterile urine samples easily even with relatively small bladders.Digital X-rays: We recently upgraded our radiology services to include a Digital X-ray imaging system, which provides higher quality radiographs than older film-based systems. Our radiologists have the ability to enlarge, enhance, and share digital image data in real time; resulting in better diagnostics and consultations.Dental capabilities: We offer quality dental services with high speed equipment to provide your pet with a healthy mouth. Dental health is one of the most important things you can do to improve your pets overall health. Dental disease has been linked to strokes, heart conditions and kidney disease as well as other systemic illnesses.Specialized equipment: Full anesthetic monitoring every anesthetized patient is hooked up to ECG, blood pressure, pulse and oxygen level as the minimal anesth
