The primary mission for employees of the Webster Police Department is to serve the community of Webster and its people. We are called upon to enforce laws and ordinances passed by the representatives of these same people. The principal goals of the Webster Police Department include: the protection of life and property, resolution of conflict, the creation and maintenance of a feeling of security in the community, reduction of opportunities for the commission of crime through crime prevention strategies, identification, apprehension, and prosecution of offenders and the preservation of the peace. History The Webster, NY, Police Department was established in 1928 and has been protecting and serving the Town and Village of Webster, seven days a week, 24 hours a day, ever since.
