New Freedom Church was pioneered in April of 1982. It began in an old gas station on Highway 52E that was slowly renovated over the next ten years. Within the first six months, Pastor Larry Adams assumed the position of senior pastor and has held that position to the present day. New Freedom Church had a membership never exceeding fifty until 1995 when revival took place. At that point the church began to explode in membership and was over 200 in two years. With that it was decided that a new building must be erected. In 1998 a new sanctuary was completed that seated 500 people. Later, a new Famly Life Center was built, along with a balcony in the sanctuary increasing the seating capacity to 700. A new Children's Ministry building has now been constructed as well.
