Waste and Recycling Drop-off is operated by the Public Works and Utilities Department, which is administered by the city government of Watsonville in California. Waste and Recycling Drop-off accepts recyclable products, garbage, and yard and household hazardous waste. The facility allows residents to dispose of unusable wood, scrap metal, office paper, magazines, plastic items, computers, cardboards, paperboards, tires, appliances, automobile batteries, glass bottles and jars, and motor oil and filters. The Public Works and Utilities Department provides engineering, recycling, flood protection, garbage collection, and streets and sewer maintenance services. The department also organizes science workshops and coordinates various environmental programs.
