I just moved into the area and I went to Giant Food to pick-up dinner for me and my family. The store was so clean and well stocked. The cashier where very nice and fast. I shop there when ever I can.

Communication is a key in every business. I have tried several times to reach this store and no one answers the phone. So I call he corporate office. They tell me they can not reach anyone on the phone either. This is not good business for a brand new store in a area where their are new developments.

The Giant grocery store located at 1535 Alabama Avenue SE, Washington, DC 20032 seems clean, well stocked, bright and very busy most of the time. I have grown very angry, concerned and weary, among other things because on too many occasions I have gone to shop at this store, as described herein, especially to purchase fresh fruit, vegetables and similar products only to get to my home which is also located in the same neighborhood as the Giant store named here, and have found the fruit, vegetables, and related items, once my family and I start to eat these items, that they airwave been very tasteless, just about rotten, very poor quality in all ways!!! I am very upset by this circumstance, and it has caused me not ever again use my money to buy such awful products. I have often wondered if it is because of the neighborhood and people who live there. I mean, I grew up going to, and shopping with my parents, relatives and others at the Giant grocery stores, and was pleased, until now.

The service is excellent and the majority of the employees, from the cart guy to the cashiers, are very polite and helpful I usually can find everything I need,
