(More) The 'BBQ Chicken Sandwich' lunch special sounded appealing, so I queried the waitress about the heat level (am unable to do spicier foods, peppers or onions, sadly). Assured that all was mild, the order went in. When the dish arrived, the fries were delicious and I eagerly took a healthy bite of the sandwich -- only to find that the 'BBQ sauce' was what appeared to my palate to be a jarred salsa 'relish' of sorts that was perhaps supplemented by a sweetener or ketchup, but that clearly had not been reduced or cooked down. Nor resembled any barbeque sauce that I'd ever tasted. It had the standard jarred salsa issue chopped peppers and onions.Making the customary comment call the next day ended up being the worst part of the entire experience. The brusque, impatient manager condescendingly told me that if I knew more about BBQ sauces than 'Kraft out of a bottle', I would not be complaining. She then became even more rude and dismissive, asking "What do you expect me to do about it?"
