My son has been attending Ms. Marrilyn's daycare since he was two. He is now and is learning to read and write in complete sentences. He is also able to do double-digit addition on paper and single addition facts in his head (he rarely needs to count it out on his fingers)! He is learning so much that it amazes me everyday. Ms. Marrilyn is AWESOME! Our son is in a happy, healthy learning environment, and we are so glad that we were able to find her. Ms. Marrilyn genuinely cares about the children and the children love her.

Two years ago, when my son and daughter-in-law were looking for suitable day care for my grandson, I stumbled across Ms. Marrilyn's web site. I passed the information to my daughter-in-law for her to check out. Since she didn't like any of the other places she visited, I didn't know how this would work. Well, two years later, he is still with Ms. Marrilyn. We love her and her way with the children. She truly does TEACH. Ms. Marrilyns Home Learning Center is Amazing!! We began our journey for a daycare last fall in 2012. As first time parents and first time daycare go-ers, we were scared of the typical "corporate daycares." I am SO glad we stumbled upon Ms.Marrilyn. She is Amazing as well as her program. She is so organized, loves her children and LOVES to teach! This was more than we could of hoped for! In our 1 year with her, our 2 year old child has grown so much! She has helped us parent, offered advice, and gives kudos to our child and us as parents! Just in case you may be looking...here are some things your child will learn and what ours has learned in the 1 year there: ABC's, sounding out his letters, counting to 100, learned to spell and write his name, knows all his colors, shapes, vowels, says," yes ma'am, please, thank you, no thank you, fully potty trained, shares with anyone, and so much more!

Ms. Marrilyn's Home Learning Day Care has been the best thing for our family. Her teaching is outstanding and her love is unbelievable. Her commitment level is the best, she goes way and beyond then any teacher - day care provider in Virginia beach. The environment is fun, caring, loving , safe and clean. Our daughter loves going to Ms. Marrilyn. I have one more year with Ms. Marrilyn before our daughter goes to kindergarten and I think what will we do with out Ms. Marrilyn. Ms. Marrilyn is the most amazing teacher. People are usually skeptical about home learning day cares, but this one in particular is exceptional. I have never heard a complaint from any parent. The children are always the main focus. My daughter is 4 years old and is learning to read. She has developed a passion to learn which I could not be more excited about. My oldest son went to a different daycare facility and the differences are very distinct. I suggest visiting her home for yourself. Words cannot express the great work she does with the children.
