Wonderful Swim Instructors! My 2 yo and 3 yo are proficient swimmers!!! Thanks to these patient and wonderful swim instructors, not only can my babies swim but they have also taught all our friends kids in the Great Neck Area. All the ladies in Great Neck Rave about their lessons and I am glad they referred them to me. At first, I was a bit iffy about going there, the pool isnt the most beautiful, but I let others testimony guide me and I have been so happy. We have been going there for over 2 years now. I also find the owners extremely friendly and sometimes they come talk to the kids and so forth. You can tell they care about their shop and customers. I find this to be a great small local business.

As soon as i walked in, immediately helped. Needed a starter kit and a nice young lady informed me about each item. They have a variety of gear for all price ranges. I would defiantly recommend this place and even though its far from where i live i will shop there again if I need anything.

I've been diving on Lynnhaven's charters since the 90's and I really enjoy their dive boat. They have worked hard over the years to offer affordable, fun and safe boat dives at different experience levels. They have a good safety system in place and the crew is trained to handle any emergencies that may arise. I took my Nitrox certification class through them. The instructor, Dave, was a very good instructor and I highly recommend him for courses. Contrary to what one of the other reviews said about their prices being high, I find their product line well-stocked and their prices often comparable to online retailers.

Took my child in to learn about swim lessons. Looked at the pool and was disgusted. Bubble gum wrappers, hair balls, and some other unidentifed objects were in the pool. GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very expensive, didn't have the size booties I needed or the gloves. I got very frustrated trying to find all the gear I needed. Not very helpful.

I believe that it is only right to rate Lynnhaven Dive Center based on the truth and the truth is that they're the best Dive Shop I have ever been too. The owners are great people and they give LDC great personality where other Dive Shops don't have that. Other than that, LDC gives great customer service. The people who work there know your name and that makes your experience in their store and diving with them much better. I have no clue what the first person who reviewed problem is, but I don't think that they based their opinion on one bad experience while they were already having a bad day. LDC has great atmosphere and is locally owned, so they understand us, the customers, better than other dive shops might. I have been to some pretty good dive shops, but LDC serves the customer, understands the customer, and helps them with any problems they might have. I would recommend LDC to anybody looking for any of the above... and who wouldn't be looking for that?

I'm a big fan of Lynnhaven Dive Center. Been diving with them for over 8 years. Honest, helpful, enthusiatic staff. Everything I would expect from a local dive shop.

Best dive center in the area, family owned. Staff are very helpful and go out of their way to assist you. I'm not sure what's going on with the above comment, probably someone who had a bad day and took it out on LDC. You can't please everyone I guess. I've been diving with them for several years and haven't ever had a bad experience.

Dishonest and rude company. Damaged my equipment and denied it. Been to many dive shops all over the world and Lynn Haven Dive Center is the only one that I would not recommend. To bad there isn't an option for negative stars for ratings.
