I recently visited Hilltop Pawn for the first time and was blown away by my experience. The store has a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere, more akin to a high-end antique shop or jewelry store, rather than a typical pawn shop. Despite its upscale appearance, I found the staff to be welcoming and friendly, which made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in.

I went in for a loan on some jewelry and was impressed by the knowledge of the woman who assisted me at the counter. She informed me that I could actually receive a loan for a higher amount than what I was originally asking for, which was a pleasant surprise. No other store has ever told me this information! Additionally, I learned that I could retrieve the extra cash at any time during the month if I needed it, which was a convenient option.

I also inquired about layaway for purchasing jewelry and was pleased to find out that they offer it. The store had a vast collection of stunning pieces, including a impressive selection of guitars.

Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with Hilltop Pawn. Their professionalism and warm demeanor made me feel confident in their expertise, which is not something I have always experienced at other pawn shops in town. I dont know about other pawn shops around Virginia Beach, but this one is a totally unique story even when you compare it with other high end shops. Even when you want to buy a second hand product, you realize that theyre cleaned properly. I cant remember, but the person who served me at Hilltop Pawn Shop must have been JackWell I wanted to buy a watch, but didnt know much about watches and somewhat didnt trust pawn shops. Jack was so helpful and knew every detail about the watches theyre selling and more. Both the price and service were superb.

Okay, I can’t find a way to that Hilltop Pawn Shop enough. I needed a personal loan…and I checked places to see where I could get the highest with my palmtop. It’s great I got to know about Hilltop Pawn Shop after trying out a few pawn shops in Virginia Beach. This was by far the best I came across…right from the reception, displays, service, to the final sale.

These are VERY patient people, and possibly the most patient people Ive encountered in a pawn shop. If anyone asked me, I would say that Hilltop Pawn shop’s customer service is just like any other that I’ve been to. The biggest catch they have is that they combine a real pawn shop feel and that of a high end shop. They have a variety of items with diverse price tags that would fit any budget. It would be an overstatement to say that they are wholesale prices and equally an understatement to say they have retail prices. They fall somewhere in the middle, making it an ideal place to pop in to pick stuff.
