The Art of Dance Academy is a private dance and theater school. We are known for our professionalism and dance excellence, our toddler classes and our famous Summer Prince & Princess CampUnder the direction of founder Monique Vermont, The Art of Dance Academy is a warm and friendly place where children and adults, boys and girls can learn techniques of ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical and modern dance and most importantly learn to love dance. We invite you to come and experience our loving family atmosphere. Monique Vermont is the founder, director, choreographer and artistic manager for The Art of Dance. Monique has been involved professionally in the theatrical arts for over 40 years.Her extensive training includes the renowned George Balanchine's New York City Ballet and the American Conservatory Theatre's Stanislavsky method of drama in San Francisco.Monique's experience teaching professionally has brought to fruition the most important purpose that she shares daily with her students; Dance is more than physical, it is mental and spiritual. Ms. Monique feels honored to share her knowledge and expertise with the next generation. Our Art of Dance family is committed to providing a fun, caring, and nurturing environment wherein our children feel safe to learn in a professional, progressive curriculum so they may carry the joy of dance within them for the rest of their lives.
